What it is
Audra is compliance software for multi-site operators. The operator builds the checklists — opening checks, kitchen temperatures, equipment servicing, staff knowledge — and assigns them to sites. Managers run them where the work happens, on a phone, and the result lands in one place where anyone responsible can see what was checked, what failed, and whether it was ever put right. Built and operated by Fungible Capital Pty Ltd, and first deployed with a multi-site restaurant group.
The problem it solves
Most multi-site compliance runs on paper checklists and a WhatsApp group. The check gets done — that is rarely the failure. What is missing is everything after it: the clipboard stays in the office, the photo scrolls out of the thread by Friday, and nobody can answer the only questions that matter when something goes wrong. Was this store checked last Tuesday? Who raised the broken freezer? What happened next?
A record that cannot be searched is not a record. Audra makes the check produce one as a by-product of being done, so the follow-up has something to sit on.
How it works
- Checklists are written once, centrally, and assigned to the sites they apply to. A new site inherits everything meant for all of them
- A run happens on a phone, one question at a time, and survives being interrupted — the half-finished run is waiting where it was left
- Anything that fails becomes a flag with a photo and a note attached, and stays open until a named person resolves it
- Everyone sees their own sites and nothing else. That boundary is enforced where the data lives, not hidden in the interface — going around the screen does not go around the rule
- Staff assessments run from a link. No account, no app, no password to reset for someone who takes one test a quarter
- Changing a checklist never rewrites history. Retiring a question keeps every answer already given to it
What we built
- A checklist builder — sections, question types, scoring — with editing rules that protect answers already given
- Roles and per-site access, with capabilities an administrator can grant or withdraw one person at a time
- A daily view: what is outstanding today, which flags are still open, which equipment checks have gone overdue, which runs were left half-done
- Full history with a shareable report — a period, a site, and everything that happened in it, exportable
- An equipment register per site, so servicing intervals raise themselves rather than waiting to be remembered
- A staff knowledge assessment flow, graded on submission and reported alongside the audit results
- Installable on a phone, and quick on the mid-range Android handsets that are actually behind the counter
